Airy was built on years of academic research, resulting in multiple dissertations and the seminal textbook on polarization effects in optical design.
From there, Airy has applied the theory of polarization raytracing in all areas of optics, including microscopy, sensing, lithography, near-eye displays, and plastic optics. We have helped customers from across the industry explore new concepts, understand their systems, build optimization and tolerancing pipelines, and ultimately produce better systems on-time and under-budget.
Future-Forward
While optics software has long been dominated by an emphasis on single workstations, fixed workflows, and black-box physics, Airy is building towards a future where optical tools are made to serve the user and not the other way around.
Airy’s tools provide a thoroughly tested and verified backbone for models and simulations, but are designed to be modified and reconfigured along with the products they are modeling. In our opinion, this is the only path to true end-to-end modeling for multi-scale and multi-domain systems.
